In a post on Facebook Tuesday evening, the outspoken legislator has said he finds no justifiable reason for MPs to push for an allowance for holding sessions in the House at night.

"I find this allowance not justifiable at all costs. I reside in my house in Nairobi and I cannot justify to my family why the taxpayer has to pay me to be away from them," said Kuria

He further directed that if the allowance dabbed the "domestic subsistence allowance" is to be effected, all his payments should be sent to a hospital in Gatundu.

"Consequently, I direct that if the payment has to be made, Parliament to transfer the same to Gatundu District Hospital for the remainder of my time in the 12th Parliament," he added.

The legislator is currently doing countrywide trips with Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko under the Team Wanjiku rallies.
