Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria has reacted to Francis Muthaura's proposal for the creation of a Prime Minister's post in the looming referendum.
Kuria on Friday revealed that despite Muthaura being his role model in public management, he disagrees with his position that the loser gets the PM slot.
"I have a lot of respect for Ambassador Francis Kirimi Muthaura. When he talks I normally freeze. He has been my role model in public management . So many challenges facing the current administration can be attributed to lack of a Muthaura," wrote Kuria on his Facebook page.
"But with profound respect and deepest regret, I have to disagree with him that the best loser of a Presidential race occupy the office of a Prime Minister. Winners belong to government. Losers belong to the opposition. Loyal opposition," added Kuria.
The vocal MP further added that it is necessary to have both inclusive government and opposition.
"We can not continue offering feasts of sacrifice to the evil spirits. We need inclusive government but also an inclusive opposition," added Kuria.
Muthaura gave hos proposal to the Building Bridges Initiative team when they toured Meru.
