This is barely hours after former Jubilee vice chairman David Murathe hinted that Uhuru could become PM after 2022, in a coalition where ODM boss Raila Odinga would be the president.

Terming Murathe as 'self appointed Uhuru's spokesperson', Okang'o asked the Jubilee party leader to ignore him and others making such pronouncements.

"When the Murathes of politics tell us that President Kenyatta will be in the executive after his second term while the president himself has said it before that he is not interested  in any other position after his term, then we should be very worried about the intentions of the likes of Murathe," he tweeted on Monday.

Okang'o said it will be unimaginable and very unfair to the people of Kenya, to accept a former president as part of the national executive in the next government, and urged Uhuru not to entertain the idea.

"I am sure Mr president is fully aware of that and I urge him not to listen to the self appointed spokesmen and spokeswoman who would want him to come back as part of  the Executive after serving his Constitutional term through a cleverly crafted constitutional amendment proposal called BBI," he said.

"Mr President don't listen to the Murathes, listen to the people of Kenya you owe them a legacy that can only be achieved through a real change and trans-formative leadership where all Kenya are happy and equal," Okang'o added.
