Trouble began on Friday, after Sifuna, celebrated the party's Punguza Mizigo bill's collapse, faulting the party leader Ekuru Aukot for fooling himself that it would pass.

He likened Aukot to Hector, the man who thought that he had already killed Achilles, only for Achilles to emerge later, referring to him (Hector) like a fool.

"This is Hector, the fool who thought he killed Achilles — Achilles," he wrote, a remark that irked Thirdway SG Frederick Okango, who accused him of insulting Aukot.

In response, Sifuna directed Okango to pick a book, referring to him of being rural, which Okango has now responded to by accusing Sifuna of acting illiterate.

"But Omwami shida yako iko wapi hasa? Kenya kuna upungufu ya watu kama wewe, yaani wale hawajui ,hawajijui, hawatajua na hawajajua .Tuwapunguze tena ama ? Matumizi ya yale unayoyasoma LAZIMA yatumiwe yapasvyo sio hivi bwana wewe! Ama pale shuleni ulipitia tu?" he wrote," Sunday.

This translates to; "But Omwami where is your problem? Kenya has a shortage of people like you; people who don't know, don't know themselves and will never know. Should we reduce you? Use your education properly or did you just pass by the school?"

Members of the ODM party have been criticising Aukot and his party over his bill, which they observe as a hindrance to their own referendum push under the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI).
