Moi University has announced the dates for the first graduation ceremony of this year.

According to the information shared on the institution's official website, the graduation ceremony is scheduled to take place on Thursday 22nd August.

"Moi University wishes to inform ALL CANDIDATES who qualify for the Conferment of various Degrees and Award of Diplomas that the 38TH GRADUATION CEREMONY will take place at the Main Campus, Graduation Pavilion on THURSDAY 22ND AUGUST, 2019," the message on the website read.

This will be the first out of the two graduation ceremonies that will take place this year. The second one is expected to take place in December.

The university urged the students who are set to graduate in August to confirm their details before the said date.

"It is the responsibility of each graduand to confirm his/her EXAMINATION RESULTS, SPELLING and ORDER OF NAMES (in this order: Last Name, First Name, Other Name(s) from their respective Dean’s Offices. Prospective graduands are also advised to clear ANY FEE ARREARS or CHARGES. Those who will not have met all the requirements by THURSDAY 18TH JULY, 2019 will not be eligible for graduation," the University wrote on its website.

The institution also noted that it was crucial for the students to be aware that the names in the Degree/Diploma Certificate are supported by the KCSE Certificate
