Lawyer Miguna Miguna now confesses that his pursuit to travel home has been painful following his efforts to seek entry.
On Wednesday, Miguna said he has visited five countries in the last three days in his bid to seek gateway to Kenya which doesn't seem forthcoming.
According to him, he has gone through Canada, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and France as he tried to gain entry.
"In the last 3 days Despot Uhuru Kenyatta has forced me to traverse 5 countries - Canada, Germany, Austria, France and Switzerland - in search of a PATHWAY to my village, Magina, in Kano Plains, Kenya, where my placenta was buried. I will be home no matter how long it takes," he wrote on Facebook.
Miguna arrived in Germany aboard Lufthansa airline but was denied permission to proceed to Nairobi after the government issued a red alert.
And on Tuesday evening, he was spotted in Air France, which later ejected him for lack of clearance from the government.
However, Col Cyrus Oguna, the Kenyan government spokesperson, maintains that President Uhuru Kenyatta's order to have Miguna home remains in force.
Col. Oguna told the Nation that; “The head of state made a pronouncement that he is free to come back. That is still the government’s position."
He added, “Had new realities or dynamics emerged after the head of state spoke, they would have been made public."
