Kandara Member of Parliament Alice Wahome now wants members of the opposition's National Super Alliance (NASA) block to keep off the ruling Jubilee Party issues.
This comes amid increasing problems within the bloc, where widening and cracks between President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto's camps now openly showing.
Speaking on Monday, the MP confirmed that a split indeed exists but noted that NASA members should not venture into it as they lack the reason and grounds to do it.
"People in NASA have no reason to speak on the split in Jubilee," she said when she was a panelist at NTV's AM Live show on Monday morning.
She said that the matter should be left to be handled by the right person, terming President Uhuru Kenyatta, who doubles up as the party leader the man for the job.
"The President as the party leader has a bigger responsibility to ensure his party speaks in one voice that the script is the same," she added.
Uhuru, however, has been largely silent on the party's woes, instead advising politicians to tone down on political issues and concentrate on service delivery.
She has also vowed to deal with his Mt Kenya bedrock politicians who are still politicking despite his instructions to stop.
NASA is a coalition of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM), Amani National Congress (ANC), Wiper Democratic Movement (WDM) and Ford Kenya parties.
The alliance lost to Uhuru in the 2017 polls and has been limping lately, with members parties appearing non committal on remaining together. It was led by ODM boss Raila Odinga.
