Mudavadi said that it is unfortunate that workers in the country have no reason to smile yet the government is struggling with a skyrocketing wage bill.

He noted that the income of most Kenyans cannot sustain them comfortably thus forcing them to resort to other alternatives to make ends meet.

The Luhya political kingpin appealed to President Uhuru Kenyatta to work hand-in-hand with his Deputy William Ruto to ensure the country is corrupt free.

Mudavadi also reminded the Head of State that it will take dedication and commitment to win the war against graft.

Mudavadi further noted that Kenya has lost billions through runaway corruption, adding that it seems like not much is being done to curb the same.

He asked Uhuru to set up a Judicial Commission of Enquiry, which he said will be tasked with investigating the loss of public money in different sectors of the economy.

“Jubilee should call a halt to corruption by establishing a Judicial Commission of Enquiry to advice on how to bring out the truth on stolen public money and close theft loopholes,” said Mudavadi as quoted by the Nation.
