Residents of Meru town were on Sunday left in deep shock after the body of a waitress was found dumped outside one of the hotels.
The deceased, Anne Kathure, was found at Gachanka village near Meru town after she went missing on Thursday.
Police officers have already launched a manhunt for the potential killers of the deceased after the shocking discovery.
The body of the 24-year old woman was found close to 250 meters from the club where she used to work before her disappearance.
According to the husband, Nicholas Murimi, 29, the deceased had not reported back from work despite her shift ending at 11.00 pm.
He also said that they had found the clothes of the deceased outside the club.
The clothes included brassiere, jumper, trouser and pair of shoes. Murimi said that he became concerned after the deceased failed to turn up at the normal time.
“I was worried when she did not turn up and her phone was switched off.
"None of her colleagues would tell me anything concrete about what time she had left the club,” said Murimi, as quoted by Standard.
The husband said that he had reported the matter to the North Imenti Police before the murder was discovered.
