Political analyst Mark Bichachi has poured cold water on Deputy President William Ruto's fears for his life.
This follows claims that some persons have been plotting to eliminate him, and have been holding meetings to realize the intention.
But Bichachi now says that the claims are most likely fraudulent, saying that those believing the narrative are completely misled.
The commentator said that believing in the claims is similar to believing that pigs can fly.
"If you buy this assassination story then from today Santa Claus is real and pigs fly," he said in an interview on KTN's Inside Politics show on Sunday noon.
Bichachi also defended the Cabinet Secretaries implicated in the plot, who are considered critics and opposed to the DP.
They are Peter Munya (Trade), Sicily Kariuki (Health), James Macharia (Transport) and Joe Mucheru (ICT).
According to the analyst, the group should not be demonized and victimized simply because of it's deemed stand against the DP.
"We cannot say that it is wrong and you are the villain if you don't support the DP's bid, even if you are in the cabinet," Bichachi noted.
The CSs have, however, denied hatching any plot to harm anyone.
