Renowned television socio-political commentator and social media personality Benji Ndolo has written off Ukweli Party's candidate in the Kibra parliamentary race.
In a reply to a tweet by Boniface Mwangi, Mr Ndolo contended that Editar Ochieng' was the right candidate for the people of the constituency but would lose to a 'clown.'
Ndolo went on to say that would hardly hit 10% in the poll ratings but congratulated her for making the first step towards bringing change to the people of Kibra.
"She's the right person, in the wrong electorate. Will hardly hit 10% in ratings, however one must start somewhere and the journey toward Change must begin no matter how difficult.
"A clown will easily wash her in the current state our country is in. Truth is bitter. Not sweet, " Benji Ndolo's tweet read.
The residents of Kibra will cast their votes in a by-election slated for November.
Among the array of candidates in the race, Editor Ochieng is among the least popular.
She will battle it out with the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) candidate Imran Okoth, Amani National Congress Candidate (ANC) Eliud Owalo, governing Jubilee candidate McDonald Mariga and Ford-Kenya's candidate Ramadhan Butichi who are seen as the strongest four.
Editar Ochieng' has promisedto bring change to the residents if given a chance to lead as the area's member of parliament.
