A day hardly passes without vocal lawyer Miguna Miguna attacking the Jubilee government and President Uhuru Kenyatta, who he usually refers to as a 'despot'.
This has been the trend since the former Nairobi gubernatorial candidate was forcefully deported twice in 2018 for allegedly being in the country illegally.
Miguna has since then sued the government, and the High Court ruled he is a Kenyan and ordered the state to surrender his passport and facilitate his return to the country.
The Interior Ministry, which is led by Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i, and the Immigration Department have refused to obey the court orders, making Miguna conclude he is a feared man in Kenya.
In a tweet on Monday, the exiled lawyer explained that President Uhuru and his allies 'target' him because he 'fully understands how the system works' and he was committed in the transformation of the country.
"Despots like Uhuru, his intelligence and imperialists who support him know that I fully understand how the SYSTEM works, how it can be transformed and they know that I'm fearlessly committed to the cause. That's why they target me and not those who believe in the system," he posted.
To proof he has solutions to what has been ailing the country, Miguna said multi-sectoral total transformation was needed, in addition to a revolution that will free Kenya from 'state capture'.
"Kenyans deserve TOTAL TRANSFORMATION of the entire superstructure, architecture, political, economic and cultural foundations of the society. Only a revolution from OUTSIDE the captured State can do that. Court orders are routinely disobeyed by despots like Uhuru Kenyatta," the outspoken lawyer stated.
Miguna had planned to return to the country and start a 'revolution' in April this year, but canceled his plans after the government insisted he applies for Kenyan citizenship before he can be issued with a passport.
