Machakos Deputy Governor Eng Francis Maliti has said that the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) is the only way that will ensure proper distribution of both funds and development to the grassroots without any favour.
In a post on his Facebook page, Monday, the soft-spoken politician also urged the locals to read the BBI report well and understand the document.
"As a matter of fact, BBI is the only way to that will ensure proper distribution of funds and developments to wananchi without any favour at the grassroots," he said.
According to the DG, reading the BBI document will make the people understand what they are entitled to get when it is implemented.
"I urge all wananchi from every corner of the country to read and understand the contents of BBI. This will enlighten them on what is entitled to them," he advised
Maliti who has shown interest in the Machakos county governorship seat in 2022 recently represented Governor Dr Alfred Mutua in a BBI public participation forum in Kitui Stadium, in Kitui county.
The forum was attended by among other prominent leaders, Kitui county governor Charity Kaluki Ngilu and her Makueni counterpart Kivutha Kibwana.
