Bobasi MP Innocent Obiri on Monday handed over a new school bus purchased by NG-CDF to Naikuru PAG Mixed Secondary School in Masige East Ward.
During the handover ceremony, he promised to ensure that education standards in Bobasi remain high.
"I'm committed to uplift the education standards in the constituency. Learners at Naikuru PAG Mixed Secondary School will now have the opportunity to go for education tours now that the school owns a bus. Rivals must keep off because criticizing my leadership will not make them get sympathy votes," said Obiri.
He promised to continue using the CDF funds appropriately to improve infrastructure in various learning institutions within the constituency.
Obiri assured that roads will be upgraded in the region to ease transportation.
On matters politics, Obiri warned rivals against continued criticism saying he will not tolerate lies being peddled by his opponents. He warned youths against being used by his opponents.
"I urge local youths to stop being used opponents to hurl insults at me on social media," stated Obiri.
The lawmaker was accompanied by Kisii Deputy Governor Joash Maangi, MPs Sylvanus Osoro of South Mugirango, Alfa Miruka of Bomachoge Chache, Joash Nyamoko of North Mugirango, Vincent Kemosi of West Mugirango and several MCAs.
