For the past few weeks,  Dr William Ruto and ODM leader Raila Odinga have been engaged in a war of words, each of them defending their integrity over Kibra polls.

Last week, Ruto accused Raila of instigating chaos in Kibra, which saw a number of MPs being frog matched by armed goons.

The DP also demanded that Raila apologises to Kenyans following the standoff, a claim which ODM party dismissed.

“The ONLY strategy and structure Tinga's party had which largely succeeded was, violence, chaos, mayhem & terror meted out by organized baba's militia, the same instruments used by terrorist organizations including outlawed groups," posted the DP.

On Wednesday, Raila's spokesman Dennis Onyango accused Dr Ruto of desperation, adding that his entire team has been disorganized and confused.

In a tweet, Onyango highlighted incidents where he blamed Ruto's team of unfairly dragging the ODM party and Raila.

"Tangatanga boxers are swaying on their feet and rocking the country with a flurry of desperate punches but with little sense of where they are aiming," he said.

"Mara Raila, mara ODM thugs, mara I was pregnant, mara uncircumcised, now Matiangi. Kibra hurts deep. Cost of misplaced bravado."

The two camps are also expected to fiercely face each other in coming days when Raila and President Uhuru receive Building Bridges Initiative report.
