Wasafi Classic Record label artists are mourning after Saturday fuel tanker explosion in the eastern town of Morogoro which has claimed lives of 60 people.
WCB CEO Diamond Platnumz through his social media handles has expressed his condolences to the deceased family. He has also expressed a word of prayer to survivors.
A fuel truck in Morogoro burst into flames which killed 60 people and 70 others seriously injured.
"I feel sorry for Morogoro brothers, may God grant the deceased families with comfort and energy during this hardship period. I wish the injured a quick recovery. May the deceased rest in peace. (Poleni saa Ndugu zangu wa MOROGORO...Mwenyez Mungu azipe nguvu Familia zote katika kipindi hiki kigumu kwao, awaponye haraka majeruhi wote na kuzilaza roho za Marehem mahala pema peponi Amin)," Diamond posted on his Instagram page.
Harmonize has also through his social media handles, said we shall are return to the creator.
"Truly, to Allah, we belong and truly, to him we shall return. (Inalilah wainairaih Rajiun...!!!! 🙏🙏🙏)," Harmonize said via Instagram.
Government spokesman Hassan Abbasi has confirmed the accident.
"We have been saddened by reports of an accident involving a fuel truck in Morogoro, which caught fire and burnt several people," he said on Twitter.
