Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko has fired a stern warning at members of his cabinet who are allegedly being used to undermine him.
In a meeting with officials of his administration and MCAs on Wednesday, the flamboyant county boss claimed he had intelligence that some elements in his administration were being used to undermine him.
He said that his warning to the internal saboteurs was his last as he would take drastic action should they persist in their schemes to undermine him.
"Mwenye anatumika asahau hiyo. And this is the last warning napeana executive. Your meeting zile mnafanya asubuhi to undermine me, you forget it, " Governor Sonko fired.
"I am aware and I have got the intelligence of each person who is here," the visibly angry county boss said.
Sonko, who has crafted a reputation for himself as a micro-manager, has been known not to tolerate resistance from within.
His Education CeC left the Nairobi County administration in controversial circumstances amid speculation that she disagreed with the county boss.
The then Deputy Governor Polycarp Igathe resigned in protest last year, citing frustrating from the governor.
Sonko had claimed that some members were being used by some cartels in a bid to derail his agenda for the county.
