Nominated Senator Isaac Mwaura has claimed that his victory was stolen in the 2017 general elections.
In a live interview by Citizen TV, Mwaura argued that he does not rely on nominative positions adding that he is working hard to ensure that he gets elected in the next election.
The lawmaker insisted that he would ensure that he was elected because he lost unfairly in the last polls as he was rigged out in both Jubilee nominations and general election.
Mwaura pointed a finger of accusations at individuals within the ruling Jubilee party whom he claimed that were provided with a 'rigging machinery' to ensure that he would not win the elections at all.
"I want to be elected next time because that was what I was looking for last time and was rigged out by people who had been given the rigging machinery by Jubilee," Mwaura argued.
The Ruiru ex-parliamentary aspirant further revealed that the nomination and election process facilitators conspired to kick him out by taking advantage of his colour noting that they made photocopies of ballot papers so that his photo would not be visible.
Furthermore, he observed that he was ready to initiate and support the formulation of electoral laws that would govern free and fair party primaries and general elections.
