Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika on Sunday engaged in a nasty Twitter fight with a vocal blogger Gabriel Oguda.
It started after Oguda taunted Kihika while responding to a post she was remembering 15 years since her father, former Molo MP Dixon Kihika Kimani, passed on.
Oguda, who is also a Daily Nation columnist, said the Senator's father was a 'hateful' politician, claiming there was an election he fielded 'all his 8 wives'.
"Your father was a hateful figure who had no boundaries of decorum. And, Susan Kihika; you've been so loud with your anti-dynasty talk yet you're a product of a political dynasty - your father at one time even fielding all his 8 wives in various political seats. Hypocrite," he tweeted.
Angered by the sentiments, Kihika fired back saying; "8??? Must have included your mother and grandmother."
Being kind of a blogger used to an unending war of words on social media, Oguda responded nastily, referring to the Senator's father as 'a shabbily dressed' politician.
"My mother and grandmother are peace loving Kenyans who'd rather remain single than get married by a shabbily dressed political journeyman who had no sense of personal etiquette. As his daughter clearly is. the snake's child is a snake (Mtoto wa nyoka ni nyoka tu)," he posted.
It is a fact the former MP had 8 wives but it was a misrepresentation that there was an election in which they all vied for political seats.
However, it is important to note that in 2002, Kihika and his two wives wanted to vie as MPs on KANU ticket, but they were all trounced during party nominations.
Kihika is the only politician in the history of Kenya who represented three different constituencies.
He was MP for Nakuru North, Laikipia West and Molo constituencies.
