Exiled lawyer Miguna Miguna has hit out at suggestions that Third Alliance Party leader Dr Ekuru Aukot might have been bribed by the Jubilee party to push through his 'Punguza Mizingo' referendum.
In a tweet, Miguna wondered how the ODM party leader Raila Odinga manages to convince his supporters so that that they end up perceiving him as a clean politician with no blemishes.
The controversial lawyer was responding to a tweet by a popular blogger, Disembe who had said; "It is an open secret that Ekuru Aukot was BRIBED by Jubilee to push through Oct. 26 polls. Even his referendum push was sold to him to forestall any NASA referendum push akin to CORD’s Okoa Kenya. Always remember: PUNGUSA MSIGO IS A DOOMED VOYAGE!"
"What poison does @RailaOdinga feed his zombies? So, @EAukot is "bad" and was "bribed" by @JubileePartyK because he supports them but @RailaOdinga who betrayed his supporters whom he had taken to Uhuru Kenyatta to maim and kill is "good" for supporting @JubileePartyK?," Miguna said in reply to the tweet.
Disembe is believed to be allied to the ODM party leader.
Aukot recently announced that he had managed to collect 1 million signatures required to set in motion his referendum bid that seeks to drastically reduce the number of legislators among others.
