Makueni county governor Kivutha Kibwana said that he no longer works with wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka. Speaking in an interview at Citizen Tv on Wednesday, Kivutha Kibwana said that he agreed with the former President that they both walk on their own paths.
Makueni county boss said that even though he is technically in wiper party, he does not do his things through wiper party.
“I think we agreed that each one of us would walk their path and therefore although technically I’m in Wiper I do not really practice my work through Wiper,” Kibwana said
Kivutha went further to reveal that Kalonzo tends to concentrate much in politics than the welfare of the people. According to him, he believes that leaders should not concentrate on politics alone but development too.
“…from my understanding Stephen concentrates more on the political side and we thought that we cannot continue that way in the region forever…” he said
He hoped that Kalonzo had taken his time to build a better track record for himself having that he has held a great position for a long time.
"I wish the track record (Kalonzo Musyoka’s) was better because that is a long time to be in a very important position," he added.
