Citizen TV seems to have started the process of replacing veteran news anchor Hussein Mohamed.
Mohammed is set to quit from the TV station at the end of this month.
In a tweet on Tuesday, fellow news anchor Trevor Ombija said he will be hosting News Night Show that Hussien as been in charge.
It is not yet clear whether Ombija has officially replaced the highly-rated news anchor who has a huge admiration in the way he conducts his interviews.

Over the years, Hussein Mohamed has established himself as one of the best political affairs host and anchor.
He announced his exit from Citizen TV early this month. His ability to calmly handle varied characters and informed facts earned him admiration in his industry.
“It has been a wonderful 10 years at Citizen TV. I have enjoyed & relished every moment I shared with my colleagues at RMS. I have decided to take a break after October In Sha Allah to concentrate on other matters. Loved the fans, the critics & everything in between. See you soon,” Hussien tweeted early this Month.
Trevor Ombija left NTV where he was a senior anchor and associate producer and replaced Joey Muthengi who was the then Day Break and 10 over 10 host at Citizen TV.
He was at NTV for five years.
