Makueni MP Dan Maanzo has said that there is a possibility of Deputy President William Ruto and ODM leader Raila Odinga joining hands ahead of 2022 general elections.
In a video shared by Daily Nation, the lawmaker said that the leaders allied Ruto should be cautious in whatever they say before the next presidential polls.
“Even in this fundraiser, we saw the president himself send greetings and it could be important to respect the President. Respect is important and I want to tell the new politicians that politicians are the same. Today they are part of TangaTanga, tomorrow it will be another story. Nobody ever thought Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga will work together. It is possible for Raila Odinga to work with Deputy President William Ruto," he said
Maanzo said that nobody ever thought that President Uhuru Kenyatta will one day work with ODM Leader Raila Amolo Odinga but they did.
He noted that there are no permanent enemies in the political arena, adding that leaders must tread carefully lest they lose it all at the end of the day.
