Deputy President William Samoei Ruto has warned a section of Jubilee party leaders he opined were recruited to break the party and spread the propaganda.
Speaking at a rally on Sunday, the second in command warned that the faction of leaders should stop their propaganda, and decide to either come back to the party fully or leave.
Ruto refuted claims that there are two groups (Tangatanga and Kieleweke) in the party as it has been said by some leaders before.
"I want to ask those Jubilee leaders that have been registered and recruited to break and spread propaganda in Jubilee, that there are two teams in Jubilee party. I want to tell them that they either organize themselves and get back to the party or leave as this country is a democratic country (Nataka niwaulize wale watu wa Jubilee ambao wamesajiliwa na kuwa recruited kuvunja na kuendesha propaganda kwa Jubilee, ati ooh, sijui kuna kikundi hii sijui kikundi ile. Mimi nataka niambie hawa wajipange, warudi kwa chama ama hii ni nchi ya kidemokrasia waamue wanaweza kujipanga kivingine)," said the DP.
Hence, he advised them that, the country is a democratic country and they are free to exit the party at any time to join where they feel comfortable.
" The rest of us will continue to forge the unity of the nation, the progress, development and transformation of Kenya as we move forward as a party," said DP Ruto.
