However, no one wants to be single due to their social media habits. There are certain things that people over-do on social media that can turn off their men.

Here are 3 social media habits that could be driving you man away instead of drawing him closer to you.

1. An overload of selfies

While selfies are usually nice to see, too much of them can be a lot for your boo to handle.

Posting selfies is a great way of showing the world how beautiful, confident and how proud you're of your looks, but over-posting them can be a major turn off to your significant other.

According to research, selfies overload has the potential of ruining your relationships, from friends; your colleagues and most importantly your partner.

So, why don't you just take it slow on the selfies for the sake of your relationship?

2. Airing your dirty laundry

Generally, using social media as a virtual clothesline to air all your emotional laundry is never a good idea.

If you've had an argument with your partner, it's never a good idea to take it to social media and decide to rip and shred his reputation through a series of posts and stories.

Majority of guys could see this stunt as childish and dramatic and in the long run could turn him off completely.

No matter how badly he has hurt you, there are better ways to go about the issue, and social media platforms such as Instagram or Facebook is not one of them.

3. One word replies

Replying with one word sucks the fun out of texting. This not only brings out a boring and pointless conversation but also comes off as rude and unnecessary.

If a potential bae or your crush slides in your DM  to shoot his shot and you reply with one-word answers like 'K', 'yeah' or 'cool' chances are, he will stop chasing you.

Such replies typically kill conversations.
