Spanish-based defensive midfielder Ismael Gonzalez has been ruled out of the Sunday's International friendly pitting Harambee Stars against Uganda cranes.
This is after it emerged that the player who turns out for Segunda División B side, UD Las Palmas Atlético, lost his luggage and travelling documents in an airport in Madrid, Spain as he was waiting to connect his flight from Madrid to Kenya.
This means Gonzalez with miss the friendly match as he tries locating his travel documents.
Following the development, Stars head coach, Francis Kimanzi has picked Wazito FC's Johnstone Omurwa to fill the gap left by Ismael.
In addition, Gonzalez joins a list of the key players that will miss the build up clash as Stars prepares for World cup qualifiers, including; captain Victor Wanyama, injured Johanna Omollo, and Joseph Okumu.
