The Head of State has also been under pressure lately to send all his ministers home following claims that some of them have been plotting to assassinate Deputy President William Ruto.

The Cabinet also appears to be divided due to the split allegiance of CSs allied to Uhuru and Ruto, with the latest calls for a reshuffle coming from nominated MP Maina Kamanda on Sunday.

However, Wahome now says that the problem is better solved by throwing the bad elements out of the Cabinet should Uhuru confirm that there are indeed issues in his team.

She argued that a Cabinet reshuffle might not be fully effective.

"If there is a problem in the Cabinet the solution isn’t a reshuffle some of them should be relieved of their duties," she said on NTV's AM Live show on Monday morning.

She also weighed in on the Jubilee Party which is similarly having problems, resulting in the emergence of rival groups which are giving out varying statements about the party's stand.

Wahome who is allied to the 'Tangatanga' faction which has been involved in verbal fights with the 'Kieleweke' group argued that it is President Uhuru's job to calm the situation in the party.

"In Jubilee, if we cannot speak in one voice there is a problem and we need to resolve this problem. I think the President has the capacity to put the house in order," she added.

The growing rift between the Ruto-Uhuru camps has also led to the formation of two rival women groups namely the Embrace and Inua Mama groupings, Inua Mama siding with Ruto.
