Narc Kenya leader Martha Karua believes that the Tuesday's ruling at the Supreme Court was unfair, arguing that judges did not put into consideration many aspects of her case.
The former Justice and Constitutional minister filed an election petition against Governor Ann Waiguru, arguing that the polls in 2017 were unfair.
Supreme Court judges on Tuesday dismissed the case, bringing to a closure of the matter which had gone past expected time in court due to technicalities.
Governor Waiguru had won in High Court and Appeals Court before. The two had a fierce a close competition despite being allies of President Uhuru Kenyatta.
In a response after the ruling, Karua dismissed the judgment, arguing that despite the loss, she was not ready to give up on the course to get justice.
"I did not get justice at the court but Aluta continua. The journey to success is long and widing," she said in a tweet.
In her team were veteran lawyers CN Kihara and Gitobu Imanyara. The former Gichugu MP lauded the two lawyers for presenting the case in court.
'Many thanks to my lawyers @GitobuImanyara who remained steadfast all through and CN kihara who stepped in to conduct most of the hearing and second appeal at the court of Appeal.Their zeal and proffessionalism remain unmatched!" said Karua.
Before joining Kirinyaga race, Karua was one of presidential candidates in 2013 but she finished fifth. On record, she has already opposed DP William Ruto's candidature.
