Among those being sought in line with the same is CMC Chief Executive Officer Paolo Porcelli, whose warrant of arrest has since been issued by the Kenyan authorities.

Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Noordin Haji on Monday expressed his intentions to prosecute Porcelli among the others, among them former National Treasury Cabinet Secretary Henry Rotich in Nairobi.

But the firm which has since denied engaging in any wrong doing on Wednesday said that it is cooperating with the authorities amid the ongoing probe.

The company has since been declared bankrupt and unable to deliver the dams, after allegedly receiving about Sh21 billion from the National Treasury.
