Kenyan songbird Nadia Mukami recently revealed that the audio of her yet-to-be-released song dubbed 'Ikamate hiyo' has been leaked.
In a statement shared on the singer's social media pages, she revealed that the audio had been spread through various Whats App groups without her consent.
According to the 'Radio Love' hitmaker, the perpetrator behind the leakage was someone she had worked with before who has now turned against her. She added that the person was working hard to destroy her brand as a musician.
The official premiere of the song will be on August 27. Nadia also appreciated her fans for the support and love they have shown her.
"This is to inform you that he ikamateHiyo audio has been leaked and spread to all Whatsapp groups without consent by someone who has keenly been working day and night to destroy the Nadia Mukami brand and the release plan. Kindly note that this is someone Nadia Mukami has worked with before who are posing as Middle Men Agency/PR DON and we are thinking of taking legal measures. Kindly note the official release date still remains to be 27th of August 2019 and we would like to thank you for the cooperation and support you have been giving Nadia Mukami since day one," part of the message shared by Nadia on her Whats App and Instagram status read.
