Speaking during an interview with NTV on Tuesday, Murkomen said that Uhuru has proven repeatedly that he is a good leader and cannot engage in violence. He said that the head of state has given his best, adding that no one has a reason to blame him for anything.

"I have no doubt about president Uhuru Kenyatta. He was not to blame for violence in 2017," he said.

Murkomen, also Senate Majority leader, said that Uhuru is a man who keeps his promises. He divulged that for the period of seven years he has known him, the President has never failed him.

He said that the head of state has good plans for the people of this nation, adding that he needs the support of leaders from all political factions to make his dreams come true before he leaves the office.

"For the 7 years I have been in politics, I have known Uhuru Kenyatta as a man of his word," he said.

During the interview, he confirmed that all is not well in Jubilee considering the recent twist of events. He noted that he is not comfortable with the idea of TangaTanga and Kieleweka in the political outfit.

I hate this idea of 'Kieleweke' and 'TangaTanga'," he said.

Murkomen, a close ally of Deputy President William Ruto, has been faulting Uhuru for accepting to work with ODM leader Raila Amolo Odinga. He believes Raila is the cause of the cracks in Jubilee.
