Interior Cabinet Secretary Dr Fred Matiang'i continues to face criticism from a host of leaders allied to DP William Ruto.
Last week, Matiang'i insisted that he only takes orders from President Uhuru Kenyatta, a statement which has irked emotions among Ruto's team.
The interior minister was defending his Principal Secretary Karanja Kibicho, who was accused of embarrassing Ruto's team during BBI launch.
“We only have one point of command in this country, and that is the president. Have you ever heard of a house with two masters? We are working for Uhuru and whatever he tells us to do with Kibicho, we will always do,” added the CS.
But on Monday, Sudi wondered why Matiang'i is yet to visit West Pokot, in which dozens of people died following deadly mudslides.
"Some bodies are yet to be retrieved under the rocks in West Pokot in the aftermath of landslides, @FredMatiangi is yet to visit the sites, is he also under instructions from his boss not to take any action about this?. The end of chest-thumping is nigh," he wrote.
Last week, Matiang'i abandoned his trip to West Pokot on the pretext of bad weather, even though DP William Ruto was able to fly to the region.
His move irked Rift Valley leaders who have been accusing him of discrimination despite being a civil servant who should serve all equally.
