Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko and musician Prezzo have hit out at Starehe MP Charles Njagua better known as Jaguar following his controversial statement against foreigners in the country.
In a long Instagram post, Prezzo blasted Jaguar for the remarks he termed as unacceptable.
"My brother @jaguarkenya sijui nianzie wapi lakini matamshi yako ya jana hayakuleta shangwe kamwe. Maana ya kiongozi ni kuwaongoza watu wako kwa njia mwafaka na sio vita au uchonganishi hasa hasa kwa majirani zetu Tanzania na Uganda. Sisi wote tunatafuta riziki duniani ili tuweze kulisha familia zetu na kujenga nchi yetu," he said.
This loosely translates to:" I don't know where to start from my brother Jaguar, but your remarks yesterday were not good. As a leader, it's your duty to lead your people in a good way and not to incite them against people especially our neighbours Tanzania and Uganda. All of us are looking for something to feed our families and build our nations."
Prezzo's sentiments were echoed by Sonko who said "siasa mbaya hufanya maisha pia inakuwa mbaya (Bad politics leads to a bad life),"
Jaguar was arrested on Wednesday over the remarks.
