Berkshire Hathaway Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Warren Edward Buffett is donating a whopping $3.6 to charity.
Buffet, who is the world's fourth wealthiest person with a net-worth of approximately $87 billion, will be donating shares of his Berkshire Hathaway conglomerate to five charities.
The five charities which will benefit from Buffet's donation include Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Susan Thompson Buffett Foundation, Sherwood Foundation Howard G. Buffett Foundation and Novo Foundation.
Out of the five charities, three are managed by his children and their families. One of the charity, Susan Thompson Buffett Foundation is his late wife's entity.
This is not the first time the 88 year-old-billionaire is donating billions to these charity organizations. Last year, the American businessman, investor, speaker and philanthropist gave out a total of $3.4 billion to charity.
