Nairobi Woman Representative Esther Passaris has been discharged from CIMS Hospital in Ahmedabad, India where she had gone for spinal surgery.
In a tweet on Sunday afternoon, the lawmaker noted that she was being attended to by a physiotherapist as she 'recaptures'.
Passaris further said that she was undergoing post-surgical counselling and surgical wound care.
The Women Rep expressed her gratitude to the medico-surgical team that treated her successfully and had been offering necessary assistance and attention whenever she needed them.
The hospital, Passaris says, has planned for two blood tests on her, in order to carry out certain diagnostic tests.
Further, Passaris asserted that she was optimistic that she would get well and would travel back home soon.
"Discharged and recuperating with physio, counselling & wound care. Dr @prizz_gopu, Dr @DipaliVaghela2 and Nirrali my care giver have been invaluable. Got two scheduled blood tests in the coming days. All being well, I'll be home very soon. Thank you all for your kind wishes," she tweeted.
On December 31, the Nairobi Woman Representative flew to India for surgery at CIMS hospital which is situated in Ahmedabad.
She successfly underwant the spinal surgery on January 1st 2020.
