Nyamira County Deputy Governor Amos Nyaribo has been asked to stand firm to fight impunity in the county under the leadership of Governor John Nyagarama.
North Mugirango MP Joash Nyamoko claimed that the county boss has been recruiting staff illegally without the knowledge of the deputy governor.
"I know how Nyagarama has been shortchanging you to recruit people through the back door. I want to assure you that we support you 24 hours, 7 days a week so that you can fight graft at the county. We are praying for you and be strong to fight impunity," said Nyamoko.
The MP also condemned the vandalizing of the Deputy Governor's official car last week while at the parking. He urged Nyaribo to be cautious because his enemies maybe after his life.
"Take care of your life as you fight corruption in Nyamira. How can employees be recruited in the county without advertising the positions? Nyamira leadership is rotten and we believe Nyaribo will manage to end the impunity," he stated.
The first time MP termed Nyagarama as a conman who must not be allowed to continue with his poor leadership in the county. He was speaking on Friday at Sereti village in Magwagwa ward.
