Activist Okiya Omtata has said that President Uhuru Kenyatta has no moral authority to condemn the Judiciary over different issues because he is part of the problem.
Speaking during an interview with Citizen TV on Tuesday, Omtata said that the head of state has been protecting his close family members in mega scandals.
He argued that the family of the President was adversely mentioned in an Sh5 million scandal at the Ministry of Health and nothing was done at the end of the day.
The activist argued that Uhuru has been applying double stands when it comes to management.
"Some high level crimes in this country are investigated by junior officers. Before the President condemns the Judiciary; his family was mentioned in the 5 million scam at the Ministry of Health, that thing has gone dead and has secretly been moved aside," Omtata said.
He also said that Uhuru knows that persons who handled the Akasha's drug trafficking case, adding that he should swing into action with immediate effect to restore the situation back to normalcy.
"You cannot claim to have freedom of expression without an independent Judiciary. If the President has evidence that those who handled the Akasha case mishandled it, could it be that FBI did a better than the CID?" he said, according to a Citizen TV tweet.
