ODM nominated Senator Rose Nyamunga has hit out at members of Tangatanga who are calling for the resignation of the Jubilee party secretary-general Raphael Tuju.
Through her official Facebook page, Nyamunga said Tuju has done nothing wrong to warrant his resignation.
She said by working closely with Raila Odinga, the former Rarieda MP wa only following in the footsteps of his boss President Uhuru Kenyatta.
"In any case, if Tuju is Raila's strategist and Raila is working with Uhuru then Tuju is also the strategist of the Jubilee party boss. Nothing wrong with that. Those who think Tuju should resign are simply living in denial and have refused to accept that the president is interested in a united country and not people hiding behind political parties to exclude others," Nyamunga noted in the post.
The former Kisumu Woman Rep reiterated that since the country is united, Tuju is free to mingle and work with anyone.
She further accused the team allied to Deputy President William Ruto for standing in between efforts to unite Kenyans.
"It is team tangatanga who have made it very difficult for the president to achieve his mission of a cohesive Kenya because of how they retreat to their political cocoons during crisis," Nyamunga said pointing out that if team Tangatanga could join the president, no one would have an issue even when they worked closely with NASA members.
