While addressing the media in Nairobi on Thursday, Raila said that leaders who are attacking him for engaging in Building Bridges Initiative rallies are misguided, because they think that he is campaigning for himself, something that it's not the case with him.

Following that change of heart by Deputy President's allies towards participating in BBI rallies after excluding themselves previously, the former Prime Minister said that it would be very unfortunate for any leader to think of sabotaging BBI exercise.

“It will be misguided and unfortunate for anyone to think they can sabotage BBI exercise…This is a people’s exercise…I have never said I want to be President in 2022. That is how misguided some people are...they are not helpful at all in this initiative…” Raila Odinga said

ODM party leader said that BBI is an agenda that has brought Kenyans together in order to solve the problems that are facing the country and making Kenya a better place.

Raila Odinga met with leaders from diverse parties in Nairobi, Thursday, to discuss issues concerning BBI, ahead of BBI rally that is to be held in Mombasa on Saturday.
