The DP has questioned a number of moves by the president, including the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI), founded by the Head of State and Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) boss Raila Odinga.

Speaking in Kisii on Saturday, Arati stressed on the need for the DP to resign, terming it clear that he cannot agree with the government and should fully venture into the opposition.

“It is time William Ruto resigns from government and venture fully in opposition politics since he seems to be fighting anything good that Uhuru and Raila want for Kenyans, we are ready to face him anytime, we dare him to move out,” he said.

He further noted that the attacks are proof that the DP's camp is jittery over the Uhuru-Raila working relationship.

Arati advised Ruto to join the team and secure a place in the nation's history instead of opposing it, adding that the entire nation is behind the BBI push.
