In a tweet, Kwamboka revealed this news, stating that she was hosting the last show at the radio station.

"After 7 years co-hosting afternoon drive show on @HomeboyzRadio, today is my last show on the station. I will miss all my listeners, colleagues, my co-hosts who made it all worth it @mikewachira @MrKerryMartin and most importantly @JohnHBR for the opportunity. I am fully grateful," said Kwamboka.

Kwamboka has been a fan favourite presenter at the Radio Africa owned station.

She won the hearts of many listeners including that of local musician Fena Gitu, who came out to express her opinion on her departure from the radio station.

“Kwambox is leaving noooo. Oh, men seven years at Homeboyz that’s incredible Kwambox, ah you have done so much for the industry. You made Kenyan music cool again. We thank you we love you so much,” said Fena Gitu.

Kwamboka's departure comes just days after the arrival of former Kiss 100 presenter Shaffie Weru arrive at the station.

Shaffie joined the station as their programmes controller.

However, Kwamboka has not revealed her next destination.
