A man, dressed in a funny fashion missed to vote in Kibra on Thursday as his name did not appear on the voters' register.
Speaking to KTN journalist at DC Grounds in Kibra, the man, whose name was not mentioned bemoaned lack of voting at Kibra, a place he cast his vote during the last general elections.
''I cast my vote here in the last general elections. I haven't changed my voting location but have been told my vote is for Homa Bay. (Last general elections nilipiga apa. Na sai sijabadilisha. Wameniambia kura yangu ni ya Homa Bay),'' said the frustrated man in the video shared on YouTube.
He told the journalist that he had gone to his rural home and returned back to Kibra, where he stays to cast his vote only to find his name missing on the voters' register being used.
Some other people missed their names of the voters' register even after turning up to voter.
The parliamentary by-election is underway in Kibra.
A total of 24 candidates are in the race to be the next Kibra Member of Parliament.
With top parties confident of their candidates to win the race, a low voter turnout has been witnessed in various area in Kibra.
Peace has been maintained in various polling stations.
The voting will be closed at 5 pm and votes counted thereafter.
