Embattled NRM self-declared general Miguna Miguna will no his fate at 3 pm on Tuesday where High Court Judge Luka Kimaru is scheduled to give a ruling over his detention.
Kimaru is expected to decide on whether the lawyer should be brought back in Nairobi and also whether to dismiss Miguna's lawyer request to have him produced in court.
Despite Miguna being tried in a Kajiado court, his lawyers have insisted that he should be brought back for trial at the Milimani High Court.
On Tuesday morning, lawyers representing Mr Miguna had asked the court to detain the two officers sent on behalf of Inspector-General Joseph Boinnet and the Director of Criminal Investigations George Kinoti until they appear in court in person to explain Mr Miguna’s whereabouts.
More than 50 lawyers have demonstrated their solidarity with Miguna while the Law Society of Kenya has asked to be enjoined in the case as an interested party.
