While representation of people in parliament is the key mandate of MPs, some have absoconded this role thus raising questions.
Parliament Hansard shows that North Mugirango MP Joash Nyamoko and his Kitutu Masaba counterpart Shadrack Mose, have never contributed to debates in parliament since August.
But the two, are not strangers when it comes to funerals or rallies in their constituencies, something that makes people question their representation roles.
Like on Friday, Mose spent most of his time at the constituency's headquarters in Tombe where he launched bursaries for students.
In most part of is speeches, he warned political competitors against undermining his leadership adding that he will not hesitate to hit back if they 'cross the red line'.
On his part, Nyamoko also launched a similar exercise last week where he asked residents to support William Ruto's 2022 bid.
It is not the first time legislators from Gusii are castigated about their silence in parliament given former West Mugirango MP James Gesami was recorded as one of MPs who never had time to contribute to debates in parliament.
Other than their swearing-in, the two MPs have not at any point discussed issues in the house thus the ongoing criticism.
