Two people were killed in a fresh bandit attack in the volatile Ng'aratuko village in Baringo North sub-county at the weekend.
The two – an adult and a Standard Six pupil – were herding livestock when a group of armed bandits suspected to be from the Pokot community ambushed and shot them dead.
The bandits then drove away about 600 goats towards Tiaty.
Confirming the incident, Baringo County Police Commandant Peter Ndung'u said his officers were pursuing the bandits
