Two men were on Wednesday charged at a Molo court for allegedly stealing a 1,500 meters copper wire valued at Sh3.6 million in Molo.

The prosecution told the court that the suspects Eric Maizi and Kelvin Muturi together with others still at large, committed the offence on September 14, 2017.

The suspects pleaded not guilty to the theft charges.

They asked the court to release them on bond.

They were released on a Sh100,000 bond each with sureties of a similar amount.

The case was set for hearing on February 8, 2018.
