Governor's John Nyagarama (Nyamira) and his Kisii counterpart James Ongwae will jointly host opposition leader Raila Odinga, a week after he reconciled with Uhuru Kenyatta.
The opposition bigwig is making the first public appearance after signing the historic deal, whose contents remain unclear in Nyakoe market on Friday.
Throughout protests precipitated by botched 2017 polls, the two county bosses differed substantially with Raila on formation of peoples assemblies.
Before Raila's mock swearing-in, the ODM boss cancelled rallies in the two regions due to delayed passing of the assemblies.
While in Kisii, Raila will hold a closed door meeting with ODM elected officials from both Kisii and Nyamira Counties at Kisii Sports Club.
Later, the leaders will have a roadside rally in Kisii town and Nyakoe market which will culminate in the burial of NASA strategist Oeri Tumbo.
