Two Tanzanians and a Kenyan were on Monday arrested at Nairobi’s Mlolongo area for allegedly trafficking Sh20m cocaine and Sh6 million-worth heroin.
According the the Star, the drugs were found wrapped in about 4000 sachets while the suspects were attempting to drive to Nairobi from Arusha.
Police officers from the Special Crimes Prevention Unit (SCIU) intercepted them at a time they (suspects) were trying to get to their Kenyan contact person identified as Elizabeth Njoki and who was later arrested in Muthaiga North.
Head of Special Crime Prevention Unit Noah Katumo revealed that the trio will be arraigned and charged at the Kibera law courts next Monday.
