Controversial lawyer Miguna Miguna has turned his cannons to Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho, accusing him of being part of an allegedly ongoing public funds theft syndicate.
In a tweet Sunday, he claimed that the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Deputy Party Leader is being used by ODM boss Raila Odinga to loot public coffers, apparently in Mombasa.
He claimed that the close Raila ally has been influenced by the former Prime Minister, and is now his agent in the alleged operations, calling for stern measures against the alleged crimes.
This is as he also cast doubts in Joho's academic credentials and integrity, terming him an academic failure who has reportedly been peddling drugs into unspecified places.
"The People's Con-Man Raila Odinga is corrupt through and through. He is using the Drugs peddling E-Grade Governor to loot public resources. We must defend the Constitution and public resources from all looters including Raila Odinga and his agents like Joho," he said.
He claimed that the county boss is also in the process of grabbing a cargo terminal in Nairobi, following details that a logistics company linked to Joho's family has taken over a state terminal.
And while it appears the Kenya Railways Corporation (KRC) board voluntarily gave it over to the Autoport Freight Terminals Ltd, Miguna claims that it has been grabbed by the Johos.
The facility in question is located near the Standard Gauge Railway terminal in Syokimau.
"A private logistics company linked to the family of Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho is poised to finally GRAB a cargo terminal in Nairobi built by public funds," he wrote.
Miguna has not been in good relationship with Raila since his deportation to Canada early last year, only days after he swore in Raila as the People's President in a mock function.
Accusing Raila of failing to save him, he has been firing shots at him and downplaying each of his moves lately, vowing to lead a revolution against Raila and the nation's entire leadership.
