Former Presidential candidate Prof James Ole Kiyiapi has hinted that he plans to return to political scenes in the 2022 general elections.
Kiyiapi however did not disclose whether he will be vying for the country's top seat or not.
Speaking to the press at the Boma Inn, Eldoret on Wednesday, the former Education Principal Secretary said he is now focusing on his teaching career at the University of Eldoret where he is a lecturer.
He said he doesn't regret venturing into politics.
"I want to tell Kenyans that my heart is now at peace even after losing in the last elections," noted Prof Kiyiapi.
"I am currently concentrating on my teaching job but I want to assure you that God willing my name will be on the ballot in 2022," he added.
In the 2013 general elections, Prof Kiyiapi was the Restore and Build Kenya Presidential candidate. He finished 7th with 40,998 votes.
